From honoring this year’s ‘I Ride with MS’ participants to seeing a man dressed as a lumberjack and riding a wooden bike, it was a weekend both meaningful and memorable for nearly 2,000 cyclists, volunteers and those who came to Waukesha, Whitewater and Madison to support them.
You’re more than two-thirds of the way to this year’s $1.5 million goal. You can make it to the top! Keep fundraising. Make a donation. Do what you can to reach the destination we are all moving toward – a world free of MS.
And don’t forget, you can register now for the 2015 Bike MS: TOYOTA Best Dam Bike Ride for only $35 between now and January 31.

“I Ride With MS”
New this year’s is “I Ride With MS,” a program to honor and celebrate Best Dam Bike Ride cyclists who are diagnosed with MS.
As part of the program, anyone who registers for Bike MS: TOYOTA Best Dam Bike Ride and designates that he or she has MS will receive a complimentary “I Ride with MS” cycling jersey and enjoy special benefits and recognition throughout the ride weekend. The program is made possible through the support of Genzyme and MS One to One, and Primal Wear.
To be part of the program and help inspire others who may not have a personal connection to MS, simply designate on your registration form if you have MS and what size jersey you prefer. (If you have already registered, contact Steve Matz or Nichole Shaffer and ask them to register you in the program.)
Meaning in Every Mile
Every mile you bike is a mile closer to a cure, and the required $300 minimum pledge per rider will help make that happen. Powerful online fundraising tools make it easy to ask your friends and family to contribute, and the Wisconsin Chapter staff is available to help you every step of the way.
Any group of four or more people can form a team.
IMPORTANT NEWS FOR RETURNING TEAMS: You will need to register your team for 2014 even if you had a team in 2013, and the first rider to register the team will automatically be designated as the captain.
